Under Pennsylvania’s workers’ compensation law, if an employee sustains an on-the-job injury, the employer’s insurance is required to cover the injured employee’s medical costs, lost wages and permanency benefits. - Yet another example is where an employee suffers an injury at a worksite located on property that has been leased by his or her employer. In that case, the injured worker may have a premises liability claim against the property owner in addition to their workers’ compensation claim.
